Admission Requirements

The Bachelor of Science in Quality Assurance (BSQA) online degree completion program requires incoming students to have 60 semester or 90 quarter transferable units from one or more community colleges and the GE requirements, including lower division. The degree completion program consists of a minimum of 120 semester units to be eligible for graduation, based on the assumption that the majority of applicants will have completed 60 transferable units. All courses require a "C" – a minimum of 2.0 or better grade average and good standing at the last college or university attended to complete the major. To begin the bachelor’s degree program, you need 60 transferable units (90 quarter units) which include:

  • A minimum of 30 semester units (45 quarter units) in CSU-approved general education (GE) courses with a grade of C or better. The GE must include classes from the "Golden Four" requirements:
    • Oral Communication
    • Written Communication
    • Critical Thinking
    • Mathematics/Quantitative Reasoning
  • Up to 18 units of lower division technical course work completed at accredited colleges may be integrated as a part of the degree program.
  • A maximum of 70 units can be accepted from accredited community colleges.
